Qualifications
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: (A) (i) Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Nursing from a recognized University or Institute; or completion of a regular course in Bachelor of Science Nursing from a recognized University or Institute, or completion of Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized University or Institute; and (ii) Registered as a nurse or nurse and midwife (Registered Nurse or Registered Nurse & Registered Midwife) with the State Nursing Council. OR (B) (i) Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from a recognized Board or Council; and (ii) Registered as a nurse or nurse and midwife (Registered Nurse or Registered Nurse & Registered Midwife) with State Nursing Council; (iii) One year of experience in a minimum fifty-bedded hospital after obtaining the educational qualification mentioned in (B) (i) above.
